Goddess Bhuvaneshwari maintains fourth position amongst all the significant dus Mahavidya's. She's an incarnation of goddess Shakti known as Adi Shakti. Which is one of the earliest form of Shakti. Bhuvaneshwari means the queen of the universe. She rules or commands the whole universe, possessing controlling influence of turning situations according to her desire.
In other words, She is the Divine Mother who protects the worlds and consequently the whole universe is Her body on which the numerous beings that exist are like jewels adorning her.
The five elements, air, water, fire, water, earth make everything in the universe which are directed by Maa Bhuvanswari. All the five elements are made by her. She's associated with Lord Shiva in his every Leela. She's not only controller but also punishes the person making mistakes. The anchor in her hand is the symbol of control. The left side of Lord Shiva is considered as Maa Bhuvaneswahri.
Bhuvaneshwari sustains all the worlds, with the beings and things that are characteristic to all of them, in a gesture of perpetual blossoming of the creation.
Bhuvaneshwari Mahavidya is always victorious on all fronts in life and becomes all powerful. Even Lord Ram had to propitiate the Goddess before defeating Ravan, who had conquered even heaven.
